Merlin had an incredibly naughty habit of trying to push Duchess off the couch-or make it as uncomfortable as possible for her to be there-LOL..all the while trying to appear innocent of his crimes!!

Duchess died 2 months ago-but she was ready to go-she was 19.....still-I miss the way Merlin used to tease her-and she certainly told him who was boss on more than one occasion!:)

Beau and RayRay are best friends and worst enemies and it just depends of on the second you are asking. Here is a picture of them sharing the couch. The kitty has almost completely taken over Beau's bed, and he either fits in around him of sleeps on the floor beside my bed.
Since Beau has had the stitches in his head Ray will lay beside him and try to wash his head, I have tried to discourage this, but I am sure they do it when I am not looking. :eek:

Lvngold-what a GORGEOUS picture!!!!!!!....and I completely understand about the love/hate relationship!Merlin was so funny with Duchess-she would always sleep on the couch-and it was part of Merlins morning ritual-to get up-run outside for toilet-then run straight to the couch-prod Duchess awake with his nose-she would slap him with her paw(not using her claws-just a friendly swipe!) then he was ready for breakfast-LOL..it's been hard since she's gone-he still goes to the couch and looks for her...

Megan-thank you too!Yep-Merlin is full of mischief-these past few days he's been dreadfully behaved-but we're working on it!Good thing he's so cute-LOL

I do miss Duchess very much...but I am glad she is at peace now-she was very sick...
