Goodbye Oliver

I lost my Golden, Oliver,On Tuesday. I still feel so terrible. He was in my life for a short time. I adopted him from the shelter two years ago. I am guessing his age to be around ten years old. I have had Goldens before. Each one has ahd a special personality. God Bless you Oliver.

I am so sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter the years we've had with our golden boys, it is never enough. They leave pawprints on our hearts that can never be matched. It is seven weeks since I lost my Trevor and I still miss him more than I thought possible. This site is a great place to find support. Everyone knows the sorrow you feel. Keep coming back . I'm so sorry to hear about Oliver.... Yes, each and every Golden is unique and special, and while whatever time we have with them is a gift, it is also never long enough. How wonderful for Oliver that you were able to take him in, and give him the life he deserved. Take care.

I'm sure Oliver lived out his last years in loving arms. It sounds like you loved him very much. Losing a pet does leave a big hole in our hearts. When it's your time you will see each other again. Sorry for you loss, he will be missed. paw
