Yes or no?

What about mercury levels and toxicity?

hmm interesting question

however, I don't think I would be able to feed raw tuna to Molly .. it's really quite expensive here to buy tuna steaks

The normal small tuna in Europe is not as bad as it seems, though I am not giving it. I only give whole mackarel and salmon heads, sometimes sardines, trout or frozen white fish and of course raw, not cooked.

Found this for you.

I eat raw tuna (sushi, and very rare steaks), so I'd have no problems giving it to my dog except for the price. The cheapest I have seen for what I buy for myself is $13/lb.

I'm sorry, Daisy never shares her fish, not even with me :o rofl3

Actually, I was asking for a friend that has a golden -- she was given some raw tuna and wondered if it was okay to give to her dog. I thought so but wanted to check first to make sure.

Thanks for the links, Sandra. I was reading through them and it said king mackeral is susceptible to high levels of mercury. What's king mackeral? I give Daisy Boston mackeral.

I don't know my fish very well. I need a Fish for Dummies book! :laugh2

I do give Tilapia, Salmon (from farm), mackerel and trouts. Without any problem so far, I can't find tuna here. My dogs love fish.
