Just came back from a trip to Arizona and stayed at a very dog friendly hotel in Tempe. The Amerisuites chain has a pet policy of 30# but the Arizona Mills Amerisuites gladly accepted my golden retriever and was very accomodating to us. All the rooms are suites and have a refrigerator and microwave, and there is a large grassy area in the back. Anyone traveling in the US might want to check out this chain. I, usually, stay at a La Quinta but this one was less expensive and as a suite has more room for the dog to hang out.
