Shaker just brought in a baby rat. :eek: Death by excessive squeaking, probably (I know, at least it was dead). She has been praised for being such a clever girl :grwag and the dead icky has been deposited into the outside trash can.

How many of you have Goldens that are mouse catchers?

Old Dog Elliot, RIP, caught a baby bunny once and make it squeak...but he dropped it when it stopped squeaking!

Tailer has brought me dead mice...but they were already dead before he found them...my worry there was...why were they dead? Did someone poison them? We do live downtown, lots of houses around.

My first golden, Murphy, was a baby bunny catcher. She was always so proud of herself, but I was brokenhearted.

Not a mouse catcher, but a fly catcher. The dog and cat compete in the summertime, I think. And Wendy is a master button finder. Drop a button, or some tiny object you can't find in the carpet, call her into the room, and watch her walk right to it! Love it! :grwag

Daisy for some reason like to lay by the toilet. She NEVER drinks out of it but curls up beside it, a habit I have given up trying to break. Well one night I went in to the bathroom and (had to pee lol) well i looked down beside me and there was a mouse running around in circles like it was hurt. I screamed and screamed til my brother came running in and caught it. Miss Daisy must have hurt it and then went running to the living room when my brother came home and left it there to scare me to death!!! YUCK. Never seen a mouse since, so I dont think Daisy would catch them I think she would probly bat them around and play with them until they were knocked goofy and got away. EWWWW :p
