Hi all...
Just wondering what I should be using on my puppy when I bathe her..so far she has only been bathed once and it was just a sponge..she didn1t seem to mind though.
Should I be using a shampoo..or just water?
Thanks..Kim

I found out the hard way that Jeter has sensitive skin, like a lot goldens. I wouldn't use human shampoo or just any puppy shampoo. Jeter had a really bad reaction to Hertz. I know you can get good ones at grooming places or probably on line for sensitive skin. I actually use mane and tail, Jeter has never had a reaction from it and the conditioner makes him shine and sooo soft. I'm sure that others can give advice this is just from my experience with my first golden :)
Also if you want something great to use while shampooing I use the Zoom Groom by kong as both a brush and in the bath to massage in the shampoo. Jeter loves it. Hope this helps :)

You can also use baby shampoo. :048 that way if it gets in their eyes it won't harm then.:D That's what I use in between Ice going to the groomers.:085

I've been told over and over that human shampoo can be very drying on their skin, although I have heard that baby shampoo is gentle enough. I use Mane & Tail too - Wal-Mart has it in the pet section if you happen to have a store nearby.
The zoom groom is a great idea! I never thought of that. We'll have to try it.
