So i am considering the option of a new golden. And it will be months before we decide completely and it will be a while before we get one obviously. But we have a theme going with the names of our dogs. A color and a flower, in any order. And, its can be a little stretched to an exagertted "color". But our recently past golden's name was Copper-Rose. And out papillon's name is Daisy-Blue. See the theme? So vote "other" and post your own idea. Or vote which one of the two you like more. And keep in mind i am looking for an English Cream golden. Thanks so much guys!

FYI- I spelled it wrong in the poll. The names are:

1. ALPINE-LILLY
2. WILLOW-CREAM

This is for a callname, right. Also, male or female?

Well yes and no. It wouldn't be the register name, but i would use only one of the names regularly. And i want a female. Like is would be "Willow" for willow-cream. and it would be "Lily" for alpine-lily.

Are you in the USA? If yes, you can use the state color and flower names that correspond to the state where your dog is born. Or at least it can give you some ideas. Just a thought.

No but you could use shades of green or purple..Violet, Sage, Lavender, etc. How about Willow-Sage or Sage-Chesnut. I am not too creative with the name until I see the dog. I had a bunch of names picked out for my second one but didn't actually decide until I had her home for a day to know her personality a little better. I am sure you will receive all kinds of wonderful suggestions on this site. Good luck!!

Well I like ALPINE-LILLY
I have a lily sleeping beside me at the mo so I’m a little biased we named her Lily as she is cream.

I like the name Willow so I voted for Willow cream or since you live in the south maybe Magnolia cream or Sweet Magnolia (Maggie). Usually I wait to see the dog; however, I had my 2nd Golden's named picked out before he was born. Best Wishes!

Sage is really cute. I didn't even think of that. And maggie is a great shortcut for Magnolia. I was trying to find flowers in England. And i went on an english country site that listed the county flowers. And it was a willow something and a an something then alpine. So i am excusing alpine as "white" lol. I am shortcutting, white is a bad name.

I really like "Lily", so I voted for Alpine-Lilly.

There is a lovely 13 year old dog named "Sage" that comes to our dog park. But, since my name is "Paige", everytime they call her I think they're yelling at me.

That is hilarious. It may be sage just because of that.

When I was choosing name for our pup, I went to a web site of scottish names for inspiration; finally someone on this site gave me the idea of Kelsi which means sea harbor in Scottish.

I Like either Willow or Sage :)
