Hi,
I have a puppy reserved and we were thinking of names. It is a female puppy. We like really like names not many people have. Here are our ideas:
- Belly
- Sobe
- Focus
- Maui
- Roca
- Disco
Wondering what you guys like?

I don't think any of those appeal to me. But remember: we all have different taste in names.
I selected to some rarely used female names from our database. See if any of these appeal to you.

I try to have unusual names for my dogs too. Here's some from my "secret" list (for dogs-to-be ;) )
Lokai
Piper

Gretchen
Hannah
Beth or Lizabet
Merry
You may want to look at Norse/Greek/Roman Goddess names and see if any of them "look" like your puppy :)
Congrats on the new baby!

Ash; also try website for scotiish names, that is where I found Kelsi's.
A golden we met has the name Cornflake. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it but it grows on one.
Let us know what you choose.

I love it for a girl puppy. I knew years before we got Kinsey that I was going to name my next Golden "Kinsey". I picked out names that I would name my children. So I have Kinsey and Finny (Finnegan). So let us know but again I love Maui. But I admit I probably wouldn't name my daughter Maui. :D

What do you think of Luna, it's italian for moon. I wanted to name my next dog Luna, but I changed from bitches to dogs.

Unless you have a name picked out before you get you pup...why not wait till you have a few days with your new furbaby and see if something pops out from their behavior? That's what we did with Tailer...

Looking at your original name list, my choice would be either Sobe or Roca.
Most of the time, I have waited to see the pup before choosing a name; however, I had a name picked out almost a year in advance of getting my younger Golden. So it just depends on how well you like & want to hear that name I suppose.
Best of luck with whatever name you finally choose for your pup.

Thanks fot the suggestions guys! We will probably wait to see what "suits" her. But it is fun to think stuff up!
